Sean Hutchinson is a is Grammy-Winning and Multi-Platinum Studio Musician and Touring Drummer.

Hutchinson is a touring & recording member of the rock band Bleachers led by Jack Antonoff (2014-Present). He been an active force on the New York City music scene since 2007, including performing with the original cast of Broadway’s award-winning production Hamilton starring Lin-Manuel Miranda and Leslie Odom Jr. 

Over his 20+ year career, Sean has recorded for artists including Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Lana Del Rey, Bleachers, Kendrick Lamar, Florence & the Machine, Doja Cat, Carly Rae Jepsen, Lorde, The Chicks, Bruce Springsteen, Diana Ross, Robyn, The 1975, Weyes Blood, Tame Impala, Maren Morris, Japanese Breakfast, Brittany Howard, Royal Otis, Cathedrals, Doe Paoro, High Highs, and many others.

Over the years, Sean has also shared the stage, accompanying likes of Jeff Tweedy, Rufus Wainwright, St. Vincent, Clairo, Phoebe Bridgers, Haley Williams (Paramore), Remi Wolf, Britt Daniel (Spoon), Lauren Mayberry (Chvrches), Francis & the Lights, Darren Criss, Claud, and Blu Detiger to name a few.

Whatever the musical context may be, Sean brings his jazz training, dynamic approach, and intuitive musical sensibilities to serve the music in the best way possible.

Hutchinson works primarily from his home studio in Brooklyn, Hutchinson Sound, or home-away-from-home Electric Lady Studios in Manhattan’s West Village.
